The Horse Museum at Diriyah is a landmark installation celebrating the deep cultural and historical bond between the Arabian horse and the people of Saudi Arabia. Commissioned by Goppion Milano — world-renowned masters of museum display engineering — the project involved the design and realisation of a bespoke showcase environment that honours this heritage with precision and reverence.
The installation draws on traditional forms and contemporary restraint, allowing the artefacts and the narrative of the horse to take centre stage. Materials, light, and proportion were considered as a unified language, creating a space that feels both monumental and intimate.
Situated within the Diriyah UNESCO World Heritage landscape, the work connects a global vocabulary of museum design with the architectural memory of the Najdi built environment — a dialogue between the universal and the deeply local.
